[Second Year-End]Meeting Lucedio Part One
Winds flew through the scarce streets as if guided along by a tethered string. The wind swirled and spiraled, rose and fell, but the rate of the wind remained the same. Damien stepped into the cobbled road of Knockturn, barely shivering in the face of the fluid wind. Every step he took led him down to thinking that something was going to go wrong. His eyes flickered this way and that, trying to make sense of the strange feeling. A feeling that he knew from a memory long ago. His gray eyes targeted onto a familiar face. "Hello," he spoke giving a half-wave.
Fire|| He looks up and meets cool, void, gray eyes and stiffens slightly. He has seen them before, he dips his head in acknowledgment, "Hello"
The tap-tapping of shoes hitting stone echoed through the alley, as a dark figure slinked in the shadows following Damien. The figure knew Damien. Of course, he did. He was ready to draw out his wand and strike, but the sound of Damien speaking, drew him back. Damien wasn't speaking to him, so who was he... there. He locked his sights on the person being spoken to. Probably a friend of some sort. He drew his wand and stepped from the shadows "Well, well." he sneered, "Look what the cat dragged in" he casually glided forward only meters away from them. "Sectumsempra" he muttered aiming his wand at Damien's friend.
Fire|| Eyes widen in shock as the sudden spell he doesn't know what's happening.
Damien smiles slightly, nodding his own head in turn "How are--" he froze hearing a familiar voice calling out to them. That was why he had that feeling. He quickly put up a protego charm, stopping the spell cold. "Leave now" Damien barked, though the spell drained him slightly. He had to step in and fight now, or someone wasn't going to walk away from this. He draws his spare weapon throwing the spare dagger at his twin's head.
Fire draws his wand cautiously, eyeing the two carbon copies, even though the one beside him saved him.
Lucedio ducks under the dagger glowering at Damien and his friend "Clearly you haven't learned from last time." he growls, his blood-red eyes piercing the two of them "Or perhaps you've forgotten those times, long ago, when I tortured your little girlfriend." he spoke each word slowly, letting them sink into Damien's head "You weren't able to stop me then, what makes you think you'll be able to now?" he queried, knowing how deep each word would cut "Perhaps I'll start with your friend here... and then make my way to your current girlfriend" he grins as he finishes. Not a grin of happiness, but a grin of smug victory.
|Damien clenches his fists tighter and tighter, as each word is said, until the final sentence is finished, and Damien's fists are taut to the point where blood trickles down his hands from his fingernails digging into his skin. His jaw is clenched tightly and he has a look of wild fury in his eyes. In a quick motion, he grabs his primary dagger, and charges forward, directly at Lucedio, slashing furiously in precise, controlled motions, a strange sight from a furious person.
Damien does exactly as planned. He took a few steps back as Damien started attacking him. He non-verbally used short bursts of protego's to deflect each strike "You've gotten better" he sneered shooting off a crucio in between deflections "It's not going to help you, though. And when I torture your friends, your girlfriend, I'll make you watch.." he laughs victory clearly in hand "I'll make you watch. I'll make you watch as I torture them. I'll make you watch as their final moments are in agony." he steps away glaring at both of them "And then, you will have to live the rest of your life knowing you could have done nothing to stop me"
Fire, Feeling a cold fury, he steps forward to help but pauses unsure if he is needed. He growls ready to rush forward but looks at Damien for approval.
Damien glowers at Lucedio, rolling aside, just barely missing the crucio. He stands slowly speaking determinedly "You will never win. I will stop you. This time I can fight you" he speaks, before nodding towards Fire, ready to rush forward and attack. As soon as he nods, he pushes off on his right foot, each step feeling like a mile, Lucedio's words playing heavily in his mind though he needed to focus on the battle at hand.
Fire, Gaining approval he rushes towards Lucedio firing off meager spells to distract him for Damien to gain an opening.
||Lucedio laughs cruelly as they charge forward "We shall see" he laughs slinking back into the shadows, escaping Damien's grasp, and seemingly disappears into the rest of the shadows. Damien, though each step seemed a mile, quickly gained ground on Lucedio, before halting, as he disappeared. Angrily, he throws his dagger into the shadows where Lucedio left, only to hear the clank of dagger hitting wall, then the floor.
