[Third Year-Middle]Failed Rescue Part 2
Pixie had been examining the blade and thinking about the day of the training when she had lost Damien and Bestie and she had parted ways when she saw it the message on the blade which once was 'From me to you' had changed to some sort of instructions and that was when she had hope, something she had almost given up on and lost as she walks into the Alley, she draws upon the source, her eyes glow with fury, hope, nervousness, and a few other emotions Hippo walks behind Pixie and looks at her concerned as he knew she hadn't drawn up on the source ever since that day, she blamed magic for all that happened, he shakes his head and readies himself by drawing upon light and forming a light orb around which light was bent in ways to manipulate untrained eyes by making it invisible, they had masked themselves by bending light so that sneaking in would be easy Pixie now reaches the place where they had trained, sadness was replaced by determination as she spots an old shop and walks carefully and reaches the abandoned shop, she now turns to look at Hippo as she draws her dagger and keep it ready in her hand as they make their way to the entrance, she signals Hippo to break the door, Hippo guides the light orb with his trunk and makes it strike as lightning strikes fast, but there is a loud sound of thunder, he looks at Pixie nervously, but then remembers they were invisible, Pixie takes a deep breath as the entrance is broken.
|| Lucedio had had enough. He was angry at Damien from when he didn't give a reaction during torture, he was angry at the boy who had tried to rescue Damien before, and yet, the problems still continued on. He heard the sound of something breaking, and first, he ran to the cellar, which he kept and tortured Damien. He zeroed in on the wall by the window, only to find that it was still repaired. His eyes then shifted to Damien, but Damien was still unmoving. He rushed out of the cellar leaving the door open, and ran to the front door to find it smashed "Reveal yourself." he shouted out, expecting the boy again.
Pixie narrows her eyes at the sight of Lucedio and looks at Hippo and shakes her head, not yet she now walks up next to the entrance and waits for him to give up Hippo had wanted to attack, Pixie let's attack now! He hated the sight of the man who took the person that mattered the most to her away, he is disappointed when Pixie shakes her head, but then realizes why. Everything good comes to those who wait.
|| Lucedio sighs and sneers at the space in the doorway before casting a reparo. He paces the area quickly before deciding what to do. He aims his wand in the general direction of the door "Homenum Revelio" he casts the spell to detect a human presence to see if anyone was, indeed, hiding from him.
|As soon as Lucedio pointed his wand she knew that he wasn't going to give up so easily, the spell he had cast hadn't given her much time, but thanks to the connection between her and hippo Hippo understood what she wanted quickly enough moved away from the door and went to stand behind Lucedio before the spell was cast Pixie now aims to throw the dagger in such a way to stab him in the arm holding the wand as he casts a spell to see those who can't be seen, she quickly throws the dagger, just the way Damien had taught her in the training that is to hold it a little above the target and to have a loose grip.
|| Lucedio looked around as he cast his spell, but dropped his wand in surprise at the dagger, which had not been there before, just in time before the dagger could dig into his skin. Sneering at the door, he made his way towards it, passing the invisible girl as he did so, motioning as if trying to find the assailant.
Pixie almost let's out a disappointed sigh as he had managed to escape the dagger, She just about manages to make her way away from the door as he was too standing too close to her and would have been able to sense her standing there if she hadn't done that, she looks at Hippo, now! Hippo just needed that look and he knew what Pixie wanted him to do He quickly makes a large Light orb, one of the brightest he's made so far as it glowed with fury He guides it with his trunk and the orb strikes the repaired entrance he hoped it was strong enough to hurt Lucedio, He sits now as the making the orb took a lot more energy than that he had expected Pixie quickly sneaks up to the entrance again
|| Lucedio had really had enough by this point. If it wasn't the dagger, It was the blast. Seeing the light he quickly non-verbally cast a spell to close the cellar door, and protect it from being blasted, or unlocked. He needed to make sure that whoever it was didn't rescue Damien if that was what they were after. But as soon as he did so, he felt the orb strike him, and he fell sprawling on the ground, unconscious.
Pixie thinks 'Good job, Hippo!' As Lucedio now lay on the ground unconscious She now turns and narrows her eyes as the door started to close, he must have cast a nonverbal spell to do so, she realizes and so she quickly slips in, a second late and the door would have closed upon her, once in she starts to run, she had to find Damien! She then finds the cellar and as steps inside, what she sees shocks her so much that she falls on her knees and says, "No! What has he done to you!" She crawls up to him and draws upon the source to fill the room up with light and that was when the wounds became all the more clear and tears well up in her eyes as she says, "I have to get you out of here" she looks around to find the cellar window and looks at Damien, How was she going to move him? She puts her hands on his shoulder as that seemed to be the only place he wasn't wounded She tries to drag him wishing Bestie were here and realizes that she had expended too much energy on bending light to make Hippo and her invisible, she doesn't give up though she manages to pull him just a few centimeters more and falls to the ground unconscious from all the effort, her last thoughts being those of Damien safe and back with her. Pixie suddenly wakes up now, her limbs hurt from all the exhaustion, she manages to sit up as she suddenly remembers, "Damien!" She looks around and finds Hippo laying down on the ground unconscious and realizes she was outside the shop, the entrance she and Hippo had managed to break open was back in place now She crawls up to where hippo lay and sobs, She had failed!
