[Azkaban 5/5]Chaotic Break-outs

|| No matter what happened nearly a month ago, Damien kept his focus on what he needed to do. He hated the fact that he had left Chava in a position where she could easily be given a dementors kiss, he hated the fact that Chava hated him for what he did, he couldn't focus on such things. Not now. With every passing day, he spent most of his time at the ministry, getting personally involved in her case. Trying to subtly turn her trial towards a more favorable outcome with no such luck. So, while he didn't want to focus on those things, he had no choice, as he constantly kept beating himself up. It was one day, nearly a week after her trial, when he snarled to himself at an idea cropping up in his head. He glanced around the living room, trying to piece his plan and idea together. The Dagger Manor had never seen its halls in such a shape as it was now. Empty bottles lay across the floor, scattered here and there, along with shattered glass from when he threw some of the said bottles. On the opposite wall from his throne, the paintings and pictures sat on the floor in front, while ink stained the walls coming together to form a large map. Suffice to say, the manor was a mess. Damien pulled himself up from the throne, before walking over to the far wall, kicking away anything in his path. He gripped up a quill, pressing it against the wall, before writing in a single name: Aeron. He wouldn't be able to break Chava out of prison himself, so he needed help. Someone magically adept, preferably. The only one he could turn to was his youngest brother, much to his chagrin. Without a seconds hesitation, he snatched up a hooded robe, flourishing it as he put it on. Time was of the essence. Turning on his heel, he apparated to the Thorne Manor, hoping that Aeron was there.

|| It had been more than a year since he discovered his parent's mutilated bodies. A whole year of searching for answers. Although he never really cared enough for his parents for their death to affect him in such a drastic way, but he wanted to know who could have killed them. He investigated, and there were no advances against the wards, no one broke in. It was either someone who was keyed in to the wards or someone his parents had let in. Aeron leaned more towards the latter, for more reasons than one. Damien was vouched for from several people, and Aeron didn't care enough to look into Chava. In his mind, it was much more likely someone with prestige hired another to kill the oldest Thornes. But Aeron was unable to find any connection. This was six months in, which was when he gave up searching. He followed after his father's footsteps, but it was hard when his older brother popped up and started to make a name for himself. It annoyed the youth. How dare he hide in the shadows for years, and the moment his parents are gone decide to show up and make a name for himself? If anyone should be doing that, it was Lucedio. But something told Aeron Lucedio had little care for such petty matters. Instead of taking his father's place, Aeron would make his own name. In time. For now he was focusing on the manor, and digging through what possessions of his parent's he could find. Since they left him next to nothing in their will. That stupid will... how could they give Damien everything? Or, at least the one home Aeron wanted to himself? They just reunited with the man, hardly even a few weeks before they were murdered! And yet they left him the manor. Kissing their ass for years, living under their reign for years meant nothing. That has angered him for weeks, but he accepted the fact. Aeron sighs, shutting the book he had been staring at for a good forty-five minutes, rereading the first word a thousand times. Perfect timing, it seemed. The wards let him know someone was around, and that someone was the very man who had just plagued his thoughts. He sighs again and stands up, opening the front door. "Long time no see, brother." ||

|| As soon as he appeared in front of the Manor, various thoughts cropped up in his mind. He could ingratiate himself with his youngest brother, by giving things he was denied in their parents 'will'. Of course, since he forged the will himself, he almost wanted to chuckle at the thought. "Aeron." he spoke as the door opened. He stepped through the door, not caring if he was invited in or not, at the moment it was technically his house, so the younger man couldn't complain. Once inside, he spun around, staring at the man solemnly. It was all he could do to keep from breaking down, and that would not help anyone. "Later we'll have to discuss the will. I can't leave my brother penniless and homeless after all." 'Unless it was Lucedio', he left unsaid. "For example I don't want this house." This was all part of his plan. Make it seem like Aeron owed him for granting him things he would have gotten if he hadn't tampered with the will, then turn to business. "However, I have a task I need help with." At this mental reminder of Chava being in Azkaban, he reached into his robes, pulling a flask from within, taking a large swig. "I don't know whether you know this or not," He walked into one of the adjacent sitting rooms, remembering the layout from the last time he'd been there. He grabbed some parchment from inside his robes, before placing it on the table, "But Chava's in Azkaban," At this he draws out a basic plan involving killing a random person under a polyjuice potion in Chava's place. "And I need your help to break her out."

|| Normally, Aeron prided himself on the masks he could paint on his face, and the emotions he could easily hide from others. All part of being charming. But as it was, he was having trouble keeping a straight face as Damien walks into their parent's home - no, it was his home now. He was the sole heir to the Thorne legacy, as it was. When his brother talks, he doesn't say anything for a long time, just listens and contemplates. But when he was done, and after Aeron looked at and contemplated the plans, he crosses his arms. It had been a whole year of being penniless, of being homeless. Yet he still lived there, and luckily he had leeched off of his parent's, so he had a good amount of money to keep him on his feet. But now that he apparently needed help, he would negotiate giving Aeron /anything?/ That idea itself was ass backwards and infuriating. But the younger male does not stay on that. He did hear of Chava. It upset him. Here was a woman he deemed respectful, even if she did love his idiot brother, yet she was caught and in Azkaban. The details were hardly a secret, as the trials were getting bigger and bigger each time, and his ears inside were informing him of what he asked. He may not have took his father's spot, but he befriended some of the man's lackeys. It came in handy. "I'm aware." He says simply. It wasn't cold nor was it welcoming. Just... an answer. "And what? You plan of taking a random person and switching them with Chava? Of course under the illusion that it is her. What do you need of me?" Of course, the idea of helping Chava was appealing to him. If she learns that Aeron did most of the heavy lifting, she may leave Damien for him. And that, currently, was the only reason he was willing to help. As elementary as it was. But he just couldn't find it in his heart to help the brother who wanted nothing to do with him, but now that he needed help, talked to Aeron as if they were even related just a tiny bit. ||

|| His first plan didn't quite work as expected, he could see that. However, he wasn't going to leave the house his tail between his legs. He felt he could break Chava out on his own, but that-would be much harder, and he'd have to use his animangus form to save magic, and he hadn't used it in years. He twists his lips into a twisted smile, as he raises his eyes up at his brother, "the simple answer? Magic. I no longer have my wand, and thus I can't cast to the same degree." He takes a seat, crossing his arms, as he continues. "There are bound to be dementors and aurors everywhere. And while I can deal with the Aurors easily, the dementors would give me a bit of a challenge." Since the ingratiating plan didn't quite work, he moved onto his second plan. The carrot and the stick. "If you help me out with this task, you will be granted full ownership of this manor and everything inside of it, as well as a stipend of a thousand galleons a month for three years." He hoped that would be enough of a carrot. There were sure to be plenty of artifacts and other such things in the house, and the stipend was no small sum either. Now for the stick. "If you don't agree to this, I will have to undertake the task myself." He picked up the plans he'd just made, flicking his other hand sending the plans up in smoke, "And I'll have to inform the Ministry that you could have potentially killed our parents because you were written out of the will."

AeronThorne was still curious as to the amount of magic his brother could do. He spoke as if he was quite skilled, but the youth hadn't seen much proof. But then again it had been a while, and their last encounter was not one to remember best. In admitting the dementors would be a challenge, was the man admitting his magic wasn't the best? In a far off fashion? Although the Patronus charm was difficult to cast even with a wand. If that was even needed. At the offer, Aeron arches brow, staring at the man. A thousand galleons a month for three years? That's a little under thirty thousand galleons. And the home. But he wouldn't just settle. No, Damien was asking for /his/ help. He opens his mouth to bargain for more, but stops when the man's next words hit his ears. His face morphs into a disgusted look. Would he really do that? Aeron had no idea why /Damien/ was the sole heir, it made no sense. But to frame him for help? He scowls. "The case would drop and you know it." Aeron hisses, shaking his head. "I'll help. But I will not help /efficiently/ lest you double your original bargain. Efficiency is key, is it not?" He would not settle for nothing. In helping Damien he was risking things on his own end, and he believes the counter bargain was fair enough. He stands there, staring coldly at the man. One could even say that, in this moment, he looked a little like his father. ||

Damien chuckled darkly at the man's words, and even more pathetically the counter offer. "There will be no counter offers." He leans forwards a smirk etching along his fingers. Oh how he this method planned out. There would be no escape whatsoever. "Nor would the case get dropped. Tell me something, Aeron." He leaned backwards at this, his hand firmly at his side near his dagger. "Was there anything missing from their bodies?" A dark sinister laugh slipped from his lips as he shook his head. No doubt Aeron knew that their parents had lost their heads and for Damien it was quite easy to find out when the ministry would investigate, should he point them to that motive. And from there it would be easy to plant the heads "It would be quite the shock if those missing bits turned up while the Ministry was investigating you." he tilted his head to the side as he focused his gaze directly at Aeron. "And as I'm sure you know. I have an airtight alibi for the murders, so you can't redirect that onto me."

|| Realization hit him the more Damien talked and a shocked look was painted on his face. Knowing the bodies were headless wasn't necessary a secret, but the fact that it sounded so easy for the older male to access the heads and plant them made Aeron thing it /was/ Damien who killed them. It would be easy, he was a Thorne, he would like torture. Who says he never murdered before? But then he mentions the alibi and Aeron questions him again. "You had something to do with it. The Ministry does not have their heads. You must know someone who does." The youth scowls and turns around, walking away from the man in thought. Not counter bargain just means no efficiency. That was fine. Help was help, he stated no degree of help. And even so, loopholes existed. "Someone isn't as airtight as you, and I will find out who that is. You will regret forcing my hand, brother." Aeron says, turning around to face the man. "I will do what I can. He finalizes. ||

|| A Simple now was all that was given. The plans that were drawn out were now scattered across the floor, left as only ashes. "Good, grab everything you'll need and we'll be off. I shall return within the hour." With that, he turned on the spot, dissaparating back to the Dagger Manor. While he had only one dagger on him during that conversation, Damien wanted to be as prepared as possible for the upcoming breakout. He wasn't going to need a mask, as there would be no witnesses, but weapons were definitely needed. He jogged up the stairs, and into his room, before going through everything he had. He wanted to carry as many weapons as he could carry, but at the same time, he wanted to be able to move swiftly. To this degree, he only grabbed his usual array of weapons. A wrist sheath holding three knives, a dagger strapped to his ankle. And although he typically only had one dagger at his hip, this time he carried two. With his weapons sorted, it was time for what he actually needed. A few minutes later he found himself walking down into the basement, after grabbing a blank polyjuice potion. He would need a victim to replace Chava, and what better one than one who sat in his very basement. While it might deprive him of a kill, It would certainly despise one of the bodies. He wasn't fully sure whether the potion would work on a dead body. He knew it would retain it's appearance once the person died with the potion in effect, but he wasn't sure if it would work the other way around. It was better to be safe than sorry in either case. He walked down the row of victims until he came to one who'd been there the longest. It was simple to release the chains, but as soon as they tried to break away, he brought his knee into the woman's side. "Sit tight." He snarled, flicking his wrist causing ropes to burst out of nowhere and bind the woman. "You'll die quicker that way." He snarled, pulling the woman up, before turning for the third time that day, apparating himself and the woman back to Thorne Manor. "Let's go." He didn't wait for Aeron to respond, instead gripping the man's shoulder as soon as he could, and apparating all three of them to a dock on the coast nearest to Azkaban. He had a basic idea on how ships worked, so he could potentially bring them to Azkaban without problems. Azkaban had many wards preventing people from apparating directly in or out, so that option was not open to them. Which was why Damien sailed a ship out towards the island. As soon as they would reach the Island, Damien turned towards Aeron sneering slightly. "Kill every person you see. Achieve this, and you'll get a three hundred thousand galleon bonus."

|| Ironically, the first thing he did was cast way the ashes of the dead plans. No evidence, no memory. The next he does was to go into his bed room and slip on clothes he knew would do him well with a heist such as this. Breaking a woman out of Azkaban. By the gods, he must be insane to have even agreed. But then again, he didn't agree. He was forced, and that thought angered him. With little effort, Aeron clears his mind and slips out the lightest and blackest clothing he had. He was skilled with a wand, so clearly that was on his person, but he was also decent with a blade, had go be in a home like this, so he found three ornate blades and strapped them on his body. Only hidden in the sleeve opposite of his wand arm, one quite obviously on his hip, but it almost seemed the blend into the shape of him. Not easy to discern as a dagger should anyone look closely. And the last against his leg. Seeing little left to do, Aeron waits downstairs. But it wasn't for long, as his brother suddenly flashes in and grips him. After the familiar squeeze, Aeron sees they were on the coast of Azkaban. Of course, sailing was probably the wisest method to go. After another moment, they grew closer and could easily hit land, but Damien stops and looks at Aeron, who shoots back a bored glance. Three hundred thousand galleon bonus? Needn't he say anything more. If there was one thing the younger male had to pride himself in, besides masking himself should he need, was that he was able to shut away his emotions on command. Living with his parents, wit was more important than emotions, and one learns to use them like a switch. Plus, killing did no bother the male. Although he wasn't necessarily fond of such an act. Still, his was slides from his sleeve and his other hand dances upon the hilt of the dagger on his hip. A sly smile slowly crawls on his lips. "I assume you know where she is," He motions, "Lead the way." Damien said everyone, and Aeron would kill every guard and prisoner he saw. Now he had to work for this bonus, and that meant taking those words literally, whether he was meant to or not. ||

| Damien held his arm out to stop Aeron for a moment before rephrasing his request. He could see how Aeron might take that literally, so he had to add something. If they broke in and killed everyone, the Ministry would be looking for an outside source. However, if the killing appeared to come from within. A breakout with a few prisoners killing all they could for revenge? Now that would make sure the Ministry didn't look outside. "We need three 'escapees'. Kill everyone if you want, but if there are no prisoners alive to play our escaped prisoners, we'd have to carry three bodies out." With that said, he flicked the two daggers from his sides into his hands. He would certainly be participating in the massacre. He had a lot of frustration to vent. It was then that he had a thought. It would be easy to get to Chava's cell. Getting out would be the hard part. He could shift to his Animangus form to evade dementors. "Chava's on floor thirteen. Cause as much chaos as you can." With that he gave a slight wink as he slipped down a separate hallway. It would be nearly a half hour before he appeared on the thirteenth floor, by the stairs. Chava's cell happened to be nearby, yet he made sure not to show himself yet. He did, however, shove the victim, which he levitated behind him the whole way, to the ground to make sure they stayed silent.

|| Three escapees? Even then they couldn't be random escapees. They would have to be natural trouble makers, ones who have tried to escape before but had been kissed to knock some sense into them. Unfortunately, Aeron has to devise this from looks alone. If weaklings escaped, there would be questions. And Aeron certainly did not feel like carrying three bodies out. And thirteen floors? Damien can find Chava quicker than the youth. He would let out his anger and frustration from the past year in the best way possible - death. Other's, of course. Not his own. Watching his brother split off with is victim, the girl who would be morphed into Chava, Aeron focuses for the chill of the dementors and the cells of the imprisoned. Many had said the least scary part of this magical prison were in fact the dementors, the guards. Aparently, most pisoner's went mad within days - if they were lucky. This fasinated Aeron, so as he casted the the Patronus Charm on the occasional guard to send them away, he walked smoothly on each floor. Every cell he castes a killing curse. If the prisoner's were hugging the bars, he would cut off their closest limb then slit their throat or kill them with the curse. On the second, seventh, and twelfth floor, he let a single prisoner out. He told them to run as far as they could. Escape the island. For fun, because anger was boiling inside of him, he released a fourth person, and told them the same thing. He watched them run away, and at the last second he casted the curse and would watch the body freeze before skidding and falling over. He would smile smuggly. Within forty minutes, Aeron reaches the thirteenth floor, and immediately spots Damien. Aeron was splattered with blood, his hair slicked back with it, but he himself was unharmed, and he kept his wand ready for any unwanted visitors. ||

|| There was certainly no rest for the wicked, especially in Chava's case. Quite literally. Her last few days spent in the wizard prison were without sleep, not even so much as closing her eyes for a small nap. She wanted to die, and she supposed not eating, drinking, or sleeping would make the process come by her much quicker than if she kept fighting it. She was growing used to the deafening silence of the prison, and that's what made these new sounds all the more shocking. Chava didn't immediately recognise the noise for what it was, until it reminded her of her night's spent making the same sound, all night long until her voice was hoarse. People were screaming. There was so much screaming... but why? What could have happened? It reminded her of death, people being killed, which was something she had wanted to do for a while then. So, strangely and slowly, a ghost of a smile starts to tug at her lips, her head tilting drearily to the side. She wished, almost, that she was the one causing the screaming. But Chava didn't have the energy for that. So she continued to sit and stare at the far wall, letting her chains hold her back as she listened to the beautiful melody of bloodcurdling screaming. Perhaps she would find out why soon.

|| It was time. Everything he had worked for, and admittedly spent a lot of time drunk, this past month had finally come to fruition. "I assume you already released three people?" he queried, rubbing his hands slightly in excitement. He walked towards Chava's cell with a smile on his face, waving his hand, blasting open the door. "Chava." After everything he'd found out from the ministry, he certainly wasn't expecting this. "I am so sorry." He muttered, before rushing over towards her. "Take care of the chains." he tells Aeron, plucking one of Chava's hairs, his other hand fumbling around for the blank potion. Two hours. Would that be enough time? He hoped so. Once the hair was in the potion, he put the stopper back in, making sure to shake the potion as his way of mixing it. He grabbed his victim by their throat dragging them into the cell, forcing the potion down their throat. As soon as Aeron released Chava, he would move to close the chains around the victims limbs, before stabbing them in the chest. He didn't hit anywhere too vital, but he made sure to leave enough damage that they would slowly bleed to death "Are we ready? We should get out as quickly as we can."

|| "Released three. Killed the others. Those I killed with a curse I managed to mark with jagged cuts." He did this because in the middle of his massacre, Aeron had realised that prisoners of Azkaban did not have wands. And those laying around randomly dead pointed to an outside source. So, letting three escape unharmed and marking up the dead kept the sent off of their trail foolhardy. It was upsetting to see Chava in the state she was in, and seeing her like this only made him slightly happy he did come. Walking over and expecting the chains, he tilts his head before muttering a spell. Nothing. He mutters another and the chains snap off of the woman, freeing her from captivity. Then Aeron watched as Damien forced the potion down the victim's throat and chain her up. From one hell to another. That was no life to live. But any remorse he could feel was still turned off. "Grab your girlfriend and let us leave. There is nothing more for us to do lest we wish to be caught." Aeron sighs, flickering his gaze between Chava and Damien before focusing on Chava. He hoped she seemed less the crazy the farther from this place they went. ||

|| Whatever Chava was expecting, it wasn't at all what happened next. At this point in time Chava had given up and forgotten about the possibility of a break out, and was utterly shocked when the figures made their way into her cell. Not that she let it show. She was getting too good at concealing these things. Yes, it was Damien. And he was smiling. Why? Chava didn't smile, didn't even show the slightest sign of emotion as she looked at the man's face. Not even when Aeron freed her from her chains did she get up and move. She was staying right where she was, without the energy for anything else. A few moments longer, and it hits her like a bullet. "You..." she hisses under her breath, only barely audible. It would be enough. The woman starts to shake slightly, but otherwise remains unmoving and no longer speaking. Girlfriend, Aeron said. His girlfriend. But... boyfriends weren't supposed to let their girlfriends suffer for weeks in a worse fate than death. "I think I'd rather you just kill me like that others." Her eyes never left Damien's, not once.

|| As far as he was concerned this was no time to argue. As much as Chava would want to argue, and as much as she wanted death, he wasn't going to let all he had worked for go up in smoke. He wouldn't care if she was mad at him. He would be torn, but he could stand it if she left him. He couldn't stand even the thought of her death. "You may want that, but I certainly don't. I never wanted you to be in this situation in the first place." He stopped himself from speaking further, otherwise he'd make the situation worse by saying how it was her fault for leaving and risking herself. He picks Chava up in his arms before nodding at Aeron. "Let's go." With that he steps out of the cell, making his way back towards the stairs.

|| He stands there, listening to the two. Staring at Chava. It was so bad here she wanted to die? What did they even do here? Do the dementors such everything out of the people ever hour or some shit? Chava was literally a shell in Aeron's eyes. It was not the Chava he first saw and swooned over. He worried for her, but also not. She was strong regardless. She'd snap out of it.  Eventually. With a sigh Aeron conjures the Patronus Charm just for precaution as the make their leave. Within time, and having passed the quiet prison floors, coated in blood as well as the dirt and grime of the place, Aeron guides them to the ship. He disspells the light and waits for them to sail back to land, his mind slowly allowing emotion back in. When they real land, he turns and says, "Hang tight." before gripping Damien, who was holding Chava, and apparate them to the Dagger Manor. With one last thing said: "I expect my payment. And... good luck with her." Aeron bows his head to Chava before spinning around, his cloak swiveling. He apparates to his own humble abode and enters it. Aeron Throne cleans himself off before stripping groaning face first into his bed. He'd be plagued with wonder for the woman before he slipped off to sleep. Which, eventually, he does. ||

<SLY> Stay Alive Chava || It could go without saying, but Chava didn't believe Damien, not one bit. Why would he let her get here if she didn't even want her here? She flinches obviously when he touches her, not even realising she had done it herself as he picks her up and they start to make their way out. She was only vaguely aware of what was happening, but she was certainly starting to get very angry. How dare he? She waited in hell... And he let get there after begging him... And now he picks her up and forces her back out? The anger boils, and by the time they got to the Dagger Manor and Aeron had taken his leave, Chava's nails were digging into the man carrying her, her legs kicking out. She was fit to burst, and upon entering the house immediately wanted to be let go, to run. "Let GO OF ME!" she shrieks, kicking him away from her. But she didn't have the energy to stand either, collapsing back onto the floor with a low groan. She had so many things she wanted to say, but she was so dizzy... so lightheaded. "You... you... you let me get there," she whispers shakily, pointing a finger out at him in accusation. "You risked ME so you wouldn't have to risk your little reputation. There were so many other options." Now that she had started to speak, she couldn't stop the words from pouring out of her mouth. "Obliviate, attack under polyjuice, or from behind, or, hm, REALIZING WHATS MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU?!" The scream tires her, collapsing into a ball on the floor, eyes rolling back in her head. She hadn't slept or eaten in days, and it was really starting to get to her. "I'm not... what's important..." she ends up whispering as her eyes start to close, the world blinking black before her.

|| Every word she spoke stung, but he didn't care. As long as she was free, he would bear all the pain she flung his way. Aeron mostly forgotten, he would get his payment to him layer, he sighed at her words. "Those options wouldn't have worked." He stated simply, as he picked her up. He knew she couldn't hear him, that she was asleep, but it helped him nonetheless to say it, "Obliviate would have left people suspicious at the ministry, and they'd investigate further. Polyjuice had already worn out at that point, and I didn't have an extra. Had I attacked from behind there was the off chance that they might escape." He carried her up towards the bedroom as he spoke. He was quite tired, and the breakout caused a bit of a drain on his energy from using various spells. "Not to mention my reputation wasn't what I was trying to protect. We'd have no hope if we were both in Azkaban. We would have no hope if they were hunting for both of us. I did the best with the options I had in front of me." With that, he placed her in the bed, before laying down beside her. The last thing he thought as he was falling asleep was that there would be a large argument tomorrow, but he would bear it because Chava was worth everything he'd went through and would go through.
