[Standalone] Jealousy and Secrets Unveiled

|| A few weeks ago was an engagement, perhaps a week ago a marriage. Nothing big at all, no, Chava and Damien were not at all the type for big, overdone ceremonies. And considering the fact Chava was supposed to be dead and an outlaw, that was most certainly out of the question anyway. She had to say it was nice, downing some polyjuice and slipping into another life, to head to the Ministry and sign the papers to even get married. She had this whole new persona going for her, and for that she had Damien to thank. Yes, these last few weeks had been uncharacteristically happy for Chava, which was more so than she could have ever asked or hoped for. Having moved into the Manor, she loved spending the time she had with Damien, but still, after her last venture to the Ministry, she was getting very antsy. Restless, sick of being in the same house all day long with nothing to do, especially while Damien was out. She wanted to do the same. It almost made her regret killing all those muggles and having to stay inside because of it... But it wasn't quite that bad yet. All the same, that morning, as she presumed Damien would be getting ready to head to the Ministry, Chava bounds over to him just to curl her arms around his torso. "I've decided I want to come with you today," she says flatly, not questioningly in case he didn't agree. "I'm bored. So I'm coming with," she beams.

|| If there was one thing at all Damien prided himself in lately, it was his ability to establish an alias for Chava. It was what allowed them this marriage after all. And he had to say, he was growing quite fond of said marriage. He was going through his plan for the day, as he felt it was finally time to get himself a full time seat on the wizengamot even if he had to bribe his way in. Being able to help determine laws, or even being in a position of power should Chava get in trouble again? Both were things he could do with. However with Chava wanting to tag along, that added a new step to that plan. "You sure? It's bound to be even more boring than sticking around here."

|| A nod of her head, squeezing him to her. All she had to do was take plenty of the polyjuice with her to last the day and all would be fine. She was sure most those at the Ministry wouldn't even spare her a second glance. Her alias was perfectly dull enough after all. "I'd rather be with you than sit around here with nothing to do," she hums, turning her head to grin up at him. Figuring then he wouldn't disagree, and knowing she would insist anyway, she untangles her arms from around him and hurries to get properly dressed, grabbing lots of polyjuice potion along the way, the hair already in place to go. She wastes no time in taking the potion, ready to leave at a moments notice. The alias certainly was dull. The only similar thing to her own self was her height, just over five feet, a mousy kind of small that would keep her easily overlooked. Her hair lightens and shortens, her dark eyes turning green, and even the world itself looked different to her. With a nod of her head, she rejoins Damien, brushing her hands on her cloak. "Ready when you are," she smirks.

|| Damien sighs and shakes his head, knowing that nothing he could say or do would stop her from trying to join him. And if you can't beat them... When she goes off to get ready, he decides to do the same. There was a certain pride in looking one's best at 'work'. With some sharp robes, he waits by the main door, watching entertained as Chava bustles around getting ready. "I suppose if I can't talk you out of it, you may as well tag along." He moves as if he was going to apparate them, before hesitating. He turns to bore his eyes into her own before speaking, "Just try not to cause trouble. I'm trying to snag a Wizengamot seat today."

|| Taking his hand in hers, she mentally prepares herself to apparate, when he speaks again. Chava feigns a pout at his words, shifting from one foot to the other. "Oh hush, I'll be good. I promise," she grins, standing on her toes in order to press a kiss to his cheek, near the corner of his lips. She gives him next a sincere look, to show she really meant this as well. Damien having a seat on the Wizengamot would do wonders for the both of them, this she knew. And so, once they had apparated and made their way into the Ministry building, Chava put on the best act she could, straightening her back and clasping her hands in front of her. She knew she was usually terrible at playing an actor, but for Damien's sake, she'd do the best she could. Today, she had to listen to him, very carefully. Or it could get bad.

|| Even for a top notch Auror, most days at the Ministry of Magic were overwhelmingly boring. That pesky Azkaban break out and slaughter months ago was all settled now, and without that to drown herself in, Eliza Crowne was bored. Too bored. Her days were spent sitting at her desk looking over criminals with petty crimes and seeking out dark arts, or simply just running around doing errands, or in hopes of seeing someone else. Eliza had been at her busiest when she was assigned to the case of a certain Chava Roku, who now lay dead outside Azkaban prison. Typically, such a busy case would have been overwhelming for her, had she not found her solace in a man called Damien Thorne, who was invested in Roku's case himself. He was quite the elusive man, and that intrigued Eliza all the more. She couldn't help but want to know more of the man, and had spent any time she could trying to do exactly that. Befriend him, learn more, and perhaps even steal the man for herself one day. Never mind the fact she had heard rumor he had just gotten married. It only gave her more reason to put the charm on full blast. And so, entering work that day and making her way to her compartment, she pauses upon seeing the man himself enter, a smile working its way upon her lips. Straightening out her robes, she begins to make her way over to him, completely brushing over the woman by his side. Was this his wife, perhaps? If so, Eliza could almost laugh at the dull woman. Stealing away Damien from this mousy girl would be easier than she thought. Perhaps it was even an arranged marriage, which already screamed affair possibilities. "Damien!" she greets him warmly, batting her lashes just so. "I didn't know if I'd get to see you today. Such a lovely surprise."

|| Suffice it to say, Damien didn't quite believe Chava. He knew he probably should, but every time Chava went out, trouble ensued. He would certainly be keeping a close watch, to save her from herself. "Stick close." He spoke softly as they strode into the ministry. He'd hoped today would move smoothly, but the voice grating on his ears told him otherwise. "My apologies." he spoke formally. "Elissa? Eliza?" He tilted his head at the woman in a dismissing manner before continuing. "But I have no time for Idle chit-chat." Contrary to what everyone seemed to think of him, Damien was not dull. Yes, he used to prefer to hide under the appearance of such things, but he was observant nonetheless. "My wife and I have some business with the wizengamot."

|| Chava had no idea who this random woman was, but her first instinct was to dislike her. She hadn't given any thought to how others at the Ministry may feel of Damien, but all of a sudden it was all she could think about. But still, the only reaction she gave was to purse her lips and move in closer to Damien. The way he so clearly brushed her aside, too, brought a rather smug grin to her lips. There was no way she could keep trying after that. And if she did, well... No. Chava had to be good. She takes a breath, straightening her back once more and didn't say a word. She was better off not speaking for as long as she could get away with it.

|| Eliza didn't know whether to be hurt, or just plain angry. She figured Damien was playing dumb in front of his wife, of course he knew her name. They had certainly spoken on occasion. He certainly spoke to her while she had been working on Roku's case. The woman closes her eyes momentarily, visibly taken aback. But with the way he spoke to her, she couldn't let him go already. She had wanted to see him, and she wouldn't let one of the better parts of her day go to waste. Putting on another charming, but more forced, smile, she swerves back around and places a hand on Damien's chest to stop him in his tracks. "Hey now, who said I wanted merely to chat?" she muses, keeping her hand steady in an effort to keep him in place. Thus far, Damien had been the first man capable of resisting her. Which is why she wanted to try all the more. "I have a proposition for you, rather. Er... Ministry business, from your favorite Auror," she grins, casting a wink. It was then that her gaze falls back on the small woman by his side. So she was his wife, as he said. Still, almost laughable, and the look on her face already made her dislike her. She was far too plain for the likes of Damien Thorne, in her opinion. "Congrats on your marriage I should say..." She trails off, before her grin returns to her face as she's back to looking at Damien. "My proposition however. It has to do with a seat on the Wizengamot."

|| Damien gripped the woman's hand, removing it from his chest, before releasing it. "If you aren't here to chat, then get on with it, so I can get on with my business." He places his hands behind his back, a brow raised at the woman. "Your Ministry business can wait. I don't know if you know this, but I'm not a standard employee." he turned as if he was about to walk off, when what she had to say gave him pause. He spun back around a brow raised. "And how might you help me into the Wizengamot?" To make sure the woman knew this was strictly formal he decided to add. "Just to be forewarned, I already have my own plans."

|| Eliza had been about to follow Damien again, when thankful he turned back around, his interest obviously piqued. Now, all she had to do was figure out how exactly to tell Damien what her plan was, without actually giving it away. If only she could get his wife out of the picture, so they could talk more privately... His wife, who was turning red and looked noticeably distressed. How cute. Yet the girl would yet to say a thing. It had to have been some kind of arranged marriage of sorts, or perhaps Damien just felt sorry for the girl. By the looks of them they didn't match up in the slightest. Such a timid thing, she appeared to be. Eliza was willing to bet she could kick her out of the picture with a well placed look her way. But instead, she'd leave it to Damien, her eyes boring back into his, trailing herself closer to him once more. "Oh, if you want on the Wizengamot, I could do that easily. Just a single well placed sentence to the members and you're in just as easily as if you always were." And Eliza wasn't lying, either. Most of the men in the Ministry absolutely adored her, and that included some of those in the Wizengamot. It was oh so easy to bend them to her will. And perhaps with this proposition... she could take Damien as well. "But I really would prefer to talk more privately, without... prying eyes," she muses, pointedly staring at his wife, who had began to growl, just slightly. Eliza shakes it off, spinning around behind Damien and grasping his shoulder, pulling him against her so she could whisper in her ear. "Be warned, baby, as not listening to me could also ensure you never get a seat on the Wizengamot, for as long as you live," she purrs.

|| He could see the fury rising up from Chava, but here was not the best place to unleash it. It made him glad he was a quick thinker. He took a quick glance around, noting the few ministry employees milling about. As much as it disgusted him, he would have to play the girl's game for now. If only to get Chava someone to toy with. With a sadistic smirk, he leans over towards Chava, whispering in her ear. "I have a plan. Go along with it, and you'll have a toy to torment." He gave a subtle nod in the woman's direction, before turning his attention towards the woman. "I see. That would bypass a lot of the hassle." Get her to sign a letter of recommendation, pass her off to Chava to torture, and he had himself a smooth transition to the Wizengamot, and a happy wife. "Perhaps we should discuss it. I have a fine bottle of wine I have yet to open." he turned his gaze over towards Chava, asking, "Would you mind handling the rest of the day's affairs for me." Of course there was nothing left to do in the day, so he hoped that Chava picked up on that, and head straight home.

|| Chava wanted to hurt her. /Badly./ The way she kept touching Damien, and her obvious want for him, was angering her more than she had been in a while. She certainly liked what Damien had said, glad that she would possibly get exactly what she wanted and hurt this bitch, but at the same time... She grips Damien's arm, very obviously pulling him away from the woman so she could speak to him. "I don't want you alone with her," she growls, fists clenching and unclenching. Only her promise to Damien was keeping her from running at her right now and bashing her pretty face in until it was unrecognisable. "I don't want her to fucking touch you," she hisses, shaking slightly. She had to remind herself to breathe. But she had no idea what this woman might do when she had Damien alone. As it was, in public, she was all over him. What was she like in /private/? "Damien..." she whines softly, when suddenly his idea struck her. Biting her bottom lip, she stiffens, trying not to let the smirk show on her face. Next she speaks loud enough for the other woman to hear as well. "I mean, yes. Yeah, I can do that." Would Chava really be leaving them be? Of course not.

|| So satisfied was she with her proposal that Eliza didn't even care to listen on what Damien and his wife were discussing. He had agreed after all, and wine too! It was bound to be perfect, and if Eliza ended up with just what she wanted, she'd keep her word and let Damien onto the Wizengamot. A man with power was always more attractive anyway, and then he may even see her in a different light if she got him there. No one would have to know the means of which she got him there. So when his wife turned away and Damien turned back, she smiles gratefully at him, blue eyes sparkling. "Perfect!" she exclaims, clapping her hands together, before offering Damien her arm. "Do feel free to lead the way. Take charge," she winks, never once looking back to view his wife. If she could help it, Damien wouldn't look back at her either.

|| He forced himself to smile at the woman, though internally he wanted to grit his teeth. He gave a small nod towards Chava, before apparating back home with the woman on his arm. As soon as he saw the familiar sights, he set a sadistic grin on his lips, as he turned towards the woman. His hand shot out, fingers gripping at the woman's neck. He leaned in slightly, as if he were a rough player before whispering, "You'll never get out, so don't try." With one hand around the woman's throat, he used his other hand to grab her arms by the wrists before waiting for Chava. "Tell me, how do you feel about chains?" he tsks slightly before shaking his head, "Now, don't get your hopes up, I'm not going to be the one toying with you."

|| It was obvious enough to Chava where they were really going, and it made her excited, in the midst of her anger. She only waited about a minute before apparating as well, slamming the door shut behind her. It was almost disgusting, the sight before her, but thankfully she knew what it was. A sadistic smirk creeps onto her face, sneaking closer to them. Right here would do, as she was too angry to move to the basement. Damien would move it there if he so wished. Her wand slips from her pocket, immediately binding the woman before her to free Damien. "Aww, you brought me a present, love," she purrs, tugging on Damien's chin to press a kiss to his lips. She allows it to linger long enough to make the other woman mad, before Chava pulls away. She takes a step closer to the woman and kicks her leg out, slamming her foot into her face, magic all but forgotten momentarily. "You fucking THOUGHT YOU COULD TAKE HIM!"

|| Eliza's first thought was that Damien must have been more suppressed under his wife than she had previously thought. Apparating to his home, she would have been astounded by the state of the place, had he not immediately captured her attention with his hand around her throat. Now, she wasn't going to lie, she had been in this exact position plenty of times before, so this was nothing new. To her, it was exciting, and his violence is met with a smirk on her face, a purr deep in her throat. What she wasn't expected was for his god damned wife to interrupt, and his last words left her at a loss. "What the fuck?" she sputters out as she binds her, watching as she kisses him. Was Damien expecting this? Perhaps he was just playing along with his clearly psychotic wife. Once she was finished here Eliza would make sure to look into her. It was an Auror's duty after all. Such a spiteful wife, was she. She felt bad for Damien, clearly trapped under this woman's reign. Perhaps that was why he was typically so elusive at the Ministry. A strangled scream escapes her when the woman's kick hit her, a crunching noise sounding as her foot meets her nose. She swore, if this Thorne woman did any damage to her at all... She ignores her shout, looking around to find Damien's eyes again. "Damien, get this bitch out of here. We have business to attend to," she pleads.

|| A wave of his wand, and ropes shot out towards the woman hoping to wrap her up for Chava to deal with. "I did indeed." He smirked slightly as he watched his wife scream at the woman, cackling. When the woman begins to speak, he can't help but laugh even more. "Oh, you seriously thought...?" He cackles out maniacally, shaking his head. "This is the business we have to attend to. My wife will be torturing you, and I will be enjoying every bit of it." The woman clearly needed educating, so he walked up in front, towering over her before smirking. "You see. I only do the occasional work at the ministry as a side deal. In reality, I torture and kill whom I please. In your line of work, you would call me... a criminal." He took a step back waving at the woman, a sadistic grin plastered on his face. "She's all yours, dear."

|| The fact that the woman still thought she would get alone time to do whatever the hell she wanted with Damien made her angrier, and Chava had still left her wand forgotten. She takes a fist full of the woman's hair and drags her up, slamming her other fist into her face as well, aiming to break her nose first and foremost. With Damien's words, as if on cue, her own polyjuice disguise begins to disappear, making light of who she really is. Chava laughs, loudly, slamming her fists into her face over and over again. "If you're an Auror, you might recognise me as well." Chava would have cared under different circumstances, but under these, she fully planned on killing the pathetic whore of a woman in front of her. "Only difference is I no longer go by Roku," she laughs, commenting just to spite her. Damien was hers. Just hers. Not for this bitch. "Poor little Ministry workers never thought Damien would be married to a murderer, huh?" She finally grabs her wand, aiming a cutting curse across her face. "WELL YOU'RE ALL GODDAMN FOOLS NOT TO SEE IT!" she cries, before spinning on Damien to find a blade.

|| She wouldn't have believed it had it not seemed so perfectly obvious now that it was right in front of her. No wonder everything about Damien seemed so odd and mysterious, no wonder he had been so personally involved in Chava's case. Somehow, Chava was alive. And Eliza could only trail this back to her husband, who was watching her beat her with a sort of smile on his face. Sadistic and creepy, the two of them... Eliza screams in pain, kicking her legs out against the woman, now shown to be Chava Roku herself. Or, Chava /Thorne/, which absolutely disgusted Eliza more than anything else. "You fucking need me, Damien," she hisses, shrugging to move forward as if to beg at his feet. "Good luck getting on the Wizengamot without me," she cries. If she didn't get out of this alive, Eliza couldn't keep the Wizengamot from allowing Damien on. He still had a chance. Not that she'd bring that up to him. "There were people in the lobby, just think, think." She was begging, pleading with Damien. He had to have some ounce of humanity, right? "There were people that saw me apparate out with you, if I don't come back, they'll /know/."

|| The idea the he needed this woman was absolutely ridiculous. The only person he needed was Chava, who was already beside him. "Tell me something. You're an auror. You might have been assigned to Kenneth and Alona Thorne's case. You know, the ones who left me as their sole heir?" He grabbed one of the smaller thrones, pulling it closer so he could take a seat. "I forged that will, and Chava here killed them." he pulled some parchment and a quill from nearby, presenting it towards the woman. "Write and sign a letter of recommendation for me to be on the Wizengamot and I promise you'll at least die quickly." he leans in closely, tapping the quill against the parchment. "Don't do this, and I will find a document of yours, forge a letter of recommendation, and you will die painfully and slowly." he pressed the two objects into the woman's hands, "Answer quickly. My wife is not a patient woman."

|| Once she found a blade, Chava wasted no time in sitting near the woman, tracing bloody patterns against her upper arm, almost giggling. She almost didn't hear hers or Damien's words, so lost was she in her bloodlust. "I think I want to kill her slowly and painfully either way," she purrs, before jabbing the blade into the woman's side without forewarning. Damien had a plan anyway, so it was okay, right? She leans into the woman to whisper in her ear, "I'm gonna hurt you until you know and admit that Damien is mine, not yours, and you can't touch him," she giggles, twisting the knife in. She wouldn't do /too/ much damage until she made her decision per Damien's request. But all she could think of was tearing her chest open to her heart with her bare hands. "Maybe I'll kill you like I killed the Thornes. Wanna know how I did it? Do you?" Chava would tell her anyway, almost childlike in her actions."They ate their own eyes and tongues, you know. Before I took their heads and hearts for Dami's present." Chava sits cross legged, the blade just barely pressing against the woman's neck next. "Now I /know/ you wanted my Dami's tongue, but I think your own would be better suited for you."

|| A scream out at the stab to her side, writhing to be free from the crazy woman. No wonder she had been put in Azkaban, she was just as crazy as the rumours said she was and more. The way she admitted to killing Kenneth and Alona Thorne... It made her want to vomit just thinking about it. She screams and kicks, only just pausing when the blade presses against her throat. Eliza did not want to die, not yet. She still had plenty to do, oh and she desperately wanted these two to pay for what they had done already. She shoves the items away from her. As if she were going to let Damien into the Wizengamot now, after he practically ordered her to be killed by his jealous wife. "What part of, they'll know, do you NOT understand?" she screams, crying. She looked like a mess, oh this was bad. She should've taken Damien to her office instead, in public, where there was no way this could have happened. "All the evidence will point to you! You can't kill me, or they'll come after you and your fucked up bitch of a wife!" To meet this point, she aims a kick at the woman. If they were listening, they wouldn't kill her, not yet. "And she'll be dead like she's supposed to be, and you will /need me/."

|| Once again, Damien had to laugh. There were so many flaws in the woman's logic, the biggest assuming that he didn't have a plan for if the ministry decided to question him. He had to hand it to the woman. For an idiot, she sure was relentless. He instantly launched into a fake act "Oh, no. I haven't seen her since we had a meeting to discuss the Wizengamot. She disappeared? That's tragic. Of course you can look around." As if to make his point, he walked up to one of the dagger displays and tapped it with his wand. Instantly every dark or dangerous object seemed normal. Daggers into crests or pictures and the like. "No, the last thing she gave me was that letter of recommendation I gave you a while ago." He smirked slightly, walking back over the woman, "I have been at this game for a long time. Do you honestly think you're the first self righteous bitch I've killed? The first ministry official? I have tales that would make you scream out in fear. So one last chance. Write a letter of recommendation."

|| Chava had a feeling so such letter of recommendation would be written, so she continued to lightly toy with the woman, making sure not to do any real damage yet. But her words were angering her far too much to keep messing around. She didn't want to hurt yet her hands or eyes, in case she decided to write, so that left little else for her to work with. Nonetheless, she managed, and as Damien speaks her blade sneaks up the woman's temple, before slicing upwards forcefully, cutting off her ear with a single well placed swipe of her wrist. She'd set to work on the other next, but she wanted the bitch to hear her as much as possible. "I can't wait to kill you," she purrs, "Your heart will be my next present to my Dami." With that, she tosses the bloodied ear away, and looks up at Damien from where she sat, eyes widened and grinning up at him gleefully. "Am I good to kill her yet? I want to kill her. She touched you. She… fucking… touched you." With each word her fingers dig into the woman's skin as if she were to tear it open.

|| She knew her ear was gone immediately after it happens, and she screams more out of shock then pain at this revelation. What the fuck was wrong with these people? Why did they think it alright to fucking torture and kill people? Was it really so hard to deal with things in a reasonable manner? These people deserved to rot and die in Azkaban for how they were, for what had been done to her. It was so premeditated, with the way Damien had everything figured out, down to the words he'd say when they questioned him, the way the room switched to normal in seconds. It was sick, twisted, and cruel. These people were /evil./ And there was no way Eliza could get away from them at all. They had her trapped. "I'm not doing anything for you and your bitch," she says with finality. "And I thought you could do better, Damien."

|| Damien snarled out, his hand reaching out to grip the woman's throat. "You should have learned while you could these two lessons. One. Things are never as they seem. And two. Being a bitch gets you nowhere." He digs his fingers into her throat for extra measure before turning towards Chava. "Have fun. Make it slow. Just try to save the heart. I thought we might both eat it." He leans back into his chair, while watching, and no doubt enjoying, what would soon come. He picks his dagger from his side, twirling it between his fingers. "If it gives you any small comfort. I know exactly where I'm going to plant your body."

|| Chava most certainly planned to have fun with what she would do next. She had been wanting to do this since she met the woman and she put her nasty little hands on her husband. But what to do first? She didn't want to make any two murders alike. It had to be different, but just as painful. Maybe even more so if she could handle it. And it felt so good to hurt and kill once more after so long. Chava felt deprived of it. The first thing she did however was jab the blade into the woman's wrists, jaggedly cutting both away from her arms in a crude fashion. With her own hands, next, she tugs hard enough to snap the bones in the woman's arms at the elbow until each was rendered useless. She moves around to her one ear now to whisper as she worked, but it wasn't anything too quiet so that Damien wouldn't hear. Hell, she wanted him to hear. "Dami is MINE," she hisses, ripping the woman's jaw open, sticking her blade at the corner of her open lips to tear them open farther on both sides. "I've got a proposition for /you/," Chava giggles, twirling the blade in her hands. Her mouth open wide enough now, Chava shoves the dagger down her throat, blade tip first, dragging across her tongue and down until she knew she couldn't breathe through her mouth. That would shut her up to. Her nose was broken already, so that was bound to create some very laboured breathing and choking. "Gag on this instead," Chava muses, shoving the blade down further still. "I'm sure it's a feeling you're used to, right?" She laughs loudly, before letting go of the dagger to keep it down her throat, reaching for another blade around the house. There were plenty after all. She uses this dagger to work her way at her stomach and chest in an effort to reach the heart as best she could. Another punch to the nose to further labor her breathing, and Chava knew she would let her die like this, struggling to breathe out of her broken and bloody nose while a dagger was cutting up her throat, making her choke. Chava lies the woman down on her back, immediately stabbing into her stomach and slicing upwards, being careful not to hit anything fatal. No, her heart would be accessible, but not ripped out until the woman finally lost her breath and her will and died before the two of them. "That's what happens when you touch my Dami," she laughs in an airy tone, just sitting back and listening now as the woman gasps and chokes, coughing violently. Without hands and with broken arms, there was nothing at all she could do to pull the blade out, binds or not. It made Chava smile, quite frankly, watching the blood pool around her and trickle from her split open lips. It took long enough before she finally did die, and when she did, her writhing and jerking stilling, her eyes glassy and open up at the ceiling, Chava wastes to time in tearing open her cut up chest with her bare hands, made easier with the wounds she already created.

|| Throughout the torture, or rather kill, Damien watched rather enjoying this entertainment. It certainly wasn't what he had planned on doing with his day, nor was it something he could deny was fun. He applauded the kill, before waving his hand, sending the carcass off into the basement, where he would prepare it later. "That was entertaining." he walked back over to the display, tapping his wand against it reverting everything back to normal, before giving a slight smirk. "I'll deal with the body later. It'll have to turn up in ministry investigation to absolve me from the crime."

|| Turning on Damien with a grin, she immediately tugs him over to her, without thinking about the fact she might be getting blood on him. She didn't care, it was easily fixed. She only pouts just slightly, looking at him. "I wanted to get you the heart," she says, as the body had left before she could do as such. She probably would have messed up with it anyway, but all the same. She shakes it off, planting kisses all over his face and squeezing him tightly to her. "Mine," she growls, resting her forehead on his. She could have stayed with him for quite a while, but she knew he had to go back to the Ministry. And she'd still insist on coming along after getting cleaned up. It might look strange for him to appear with his wife only to appear without her a little while later. And it would make her look more suspicious. But that thought brought something else to mind, and she again grips to Damien before he could go anywhere else, eyes narrowing slightly. "Had that bitch been feeling you up for a while? She knew you," she huffs.

|| It was endearing the way Chava claimed him, and wanted to protect him from people like that. "The body shouldn't match our modus operandi. She'll need to appear to have been killed by someone random. Perhaps a robbery gone wrong." He pulls her closer at her word, planting a kiss on her lips before agreeing. "I am indeed yours. That's kind of how marriage works." he jokes out before giving a short nod. "I worked with her on your case. Gave her false clues and the like. I knew how to deal with her though. Beyond business, I never gave her the time of day.” He wrapped his arms around her, planting a kiss on her forehead before saying. "Shall we head off then? We have much to do."

|| Chava growls slightly, angry that this woman had managed to spend so much time with Damien, even after she had already killed her. What if there were others around that wanted Damien too? She trusted him, but what if he was just oblivious? "You never told me," she grumbles, moving to cross her arms over her chest. She'd go soon, but this was already something she had to get out of her system. She stares at the floor, almost embarrassed. "Did you know she wanted you? You never told me." She purses her lips, wiping off her bloody hands on her robe. She'd clean soon, it would only take a flick of her wand after all. "What else did she do to you, Damien?"

|| Damien shook his head slightly. They were getting nowhere with this, as they had important things to do. He would give his answers, but he was getting slightly annoyed at the questioning. Almost as if she didn't trust him. "It wasn't important." he stated simply. And it wasn't. If he could deal with it himself, then he saw no reason to make Chava angry at a 'faceless' person at the ministry and potentially blow her cover. No, it wasn't important. "I knew. I simply focused on business." He places a hand on her shoulder before stating. "It doesn't matter, she's dead."

|| His words were meant with furrowed brows and a growl, but at the same time she had to remind herself he was right. It wasn't important and he can handle it. Chava wasn't in her right mind, filled with a kind of jealousy, and that's where they questioning stemmed from. She trusted him. Even if then it didn't seem like she did. She trusted him more than she trusted herself, it was people like the dead woman who she didn't trust. Still, Chava was shaking with a kind of anger that she was sane enough to know she had to snap out of. So, she pulls away from Damien and holds a finger up, before moving over to a wall and slamming her fist through it, and then slamming her head into hard enough to hurt. When she moves back to turn towards him, hand on her head, she's dizzy, her vision slightly blurred. But at least she had been shocked out of whatever fragile jealous mental state she was in. "You're right," she nods, blinking. "Good to go, I think."

|| Damien frowned slightly at the acts of violence, figuring he could repair everything later. Either way, he was glad for the trust, and he decided to reward that trust, but pulling her closer and planting a kiss to her lips. "Alright. We have a lot of work to do."
